How-to guide

How to download anything

Two universal methods work everywhere — paste a link or use the built-in browser — plus per-platform steps for YT, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and other sites.

The 2 universal methods

Method 1 — Paste a link. Copy the video or page URL from any app or browser, open Tube AIO, and paste it into the download bar. Pick a quality or MP3 and tap Download. Fastest when you already have the link.

Method 2 — Built-in browser. Open the site inside Tube AIO, navigate to the video normally, and tap the download button when it appears. Best when a site blocks copied links or needs login first.

How to download from YT

Most popular
  1. Open the YT app or site and find the video you want.
  2. Tap Share, then Copy link to copy the video URL.
  3. Open Tube AIO — the copied link is detected automatically, or paste it into the search/download bar.
  4. Pick a quality (e.g. 720p, 1080p, 4K where offered) or choose MP3 for audio only.
  5. Tap Download and find the file in your gallery when it finishes.

Available qualities depend on what the YT source offers for that video. Only download videos you own, that are licensed for download, or that you have permission to save.

How to download from Instagram

Reels & posts
  1. Open Instagram and find the Reel, video post, or Story you want.
  2. Tap the Share icon (paper plane) and choose Copy link.
  3. Open Tube AIO and paste the link into the download bar.
  4. Select your preferred quality and tap Download.

Private accounts and disappearing Stories cannot be downloaded. Only save content you have the right to keep.

How to download from Facebook

Videos & Watch
  1. Open Facebook and find the video or Watch clip you want.
  2. Tap Share, then Copy link.
  3. Open Tube AIO and paste the link into the download bar.
  4. Choose a quality and tap Download.

Videos in private groups or with restricted visibility cannot be fetched. Respect the poster’s rights and Facebook’s own rules.

How to download from TikTok

Short clips
  1. Open TikTok and find the clip you want.
  2. Tap Share, then Copy link.
  3. Open Tube AIO and paste the link into the download bar.
  4. Pick a quality (watermark-free where the source allows) and tap Download.

Some creators disable downloads or sharing — those clips cannot be fetched. Only keep clips you are allowed to save.

How to download from X (Twitter)

Video posts
  1. Open X and find the post containing the video.
  2. Tap Share, then Copy link to post.
  3. Open Tube AIO and paste the link into the download bar.
  4. Select a quality and tap Download.

Protected or deleted posts cannot be fetched. Keep only what you have the right to save.

How to download from Other websites

1000+ supported
  1. Method A — paste a link: copy the page URL from any browser and paste it into Tube AIO’s download bar.
  2. Method B — built-in browser: open the site inside Tube AIO, navigate to the video, and tap the download button when it appears.
  3. Choose quality or MP3, then tap Download.

If a site changes its layout, fetching may briefly fail until the app is updated — grab the newest APK from tubeaio.com and retry.

Choosing quality & format

  • Video — from data-saving 144p up to HD/4K where the source offers it.
  • Audio — pick MP3 to save just the sound (music, podcasts, lectures).
  • Options always depend on the source: if 1080p is missing, the site simply didn’t offer it for that video.
  • Large HD files need free storage — check space before long playlists.

Where do files go?

Finished downloads appear in your gallery (Videos/Music) or the custom folder set in the app’s settings. Use any file manager to move, rename, or share them.

If a download fails

  • Check connection and storage, then retry.
  • Test a different video from the same site to isolate a single broken link.
  • Update to the newest APK — Download (v2026.09.18) — sites change layouts often.
  • Still stuck? Email support@tubeaio.com with the failing link, your app version, and device model.

A note on rights

Only download content you own, that is licensed for download, in the public domain, or shared with the creator’s permission — and respect each platform’s own rules. Details: Terms · FAQ.
